Nonprofit Organization Offering After-School Art Classes in Utah

Discover a world of creativity at Art Haven, a woman-run nonprofit organization in Utah that provides after-school art classes for elementary students. We offer six-week sessions for fall, winter, and spring, as well as summer camps, workshops, family art nights, and Title 1 programming. Our classes are held at schools, local community centers, and various other locations.

Art Haven has been running its high-quality programming for over 10 years. Our students use professional-grade materials that encourage confidence, creativity, and pride in their work. We offer an engaging, non-repetitive curriculum with each lesson introducing a featured artist or art history connection and providing fresh projects that build skills while inspiring curiosity.

At Art Haven, we promote exploration of multimedia. Our students can try a wide range of techniques and materials, helping them discover new interests and grow as well-rounded artists.

Testimonials

Hanna

My daughter absolutely LOVES Art Haven, after the first class she was smiling and giddy the rest of the day and pronounced “Art is the thing that makes me happy, if I just do art every day I’ll be the happiest person all the time!” We just moved here and it’s our first experience with all these fun after school programs. I can’t express to you how much this program has positively impacted Matilda, and for that I’m extremely grateful. Thank you!

Sara

“These birds were fabulous!! My girls came home with such lovely artwork and so proud. thank you!”

Trisha

My 2 daughters have been taking Art Haven lessons for 3 years. I love that it is actually art education and not just crayons and construction paper. It’s pretty impressive when your 9 year old start a conversation about Frank Lloyd Wright. Aside from being a proud mommy, it is super convenient that classes are held right after school, at their school. For a busy family this is priceless! It doesn’t even feel like an extra curricular, just a longer school day. To our family Art Haven is like music lessons, a necessity for growing minds. But most important: They LOVE it! It is the highlight of their week. Thursdays don’t come fast enough!
